To start again close to the stopping point, I have included a Jump Page option to jump to the last solved map clue. To use it, print out the map and set a pointer manually. Some students may want to do more than one map point in one session. Be sure to mark the last clue solved. Upon returning to Treasure Hunt!, click the Jump button on the cover page, then click the last marked clue on the Jump Page map. This gives students a chance to get back into the story flow without having to search for the previous stopping point. However, don't give in to the temptation to jump ahead! It would be sad to miss any part of the adventure. Story and art are original by Ann Brundige. The scenes in Treasure Hunt! were rendered in Vue 2011, Vue 2014, and Vue 2015. Vue® is a 3D application used by people far more talented than I am to make realistic fantasy worlds like the planet in Avatar. My efforts for Treasure Hunt! only skim the surface of what this magical system can do. In addition, I want to thank all the generous 3D artists who contributed free models that were used in constructing this story, and all the generous sound artists who uploaded sounds I could adapt to bring it to life. Usually I have a list here of photos, sounds, and models I have used in a project, but the list for Treasure Hunt! would not fit. Instead, I have included all the credits in a separate PDF document you can download here. Open it, scroll through, take a moment to appreciate all the hours these artists have contributed, and read a short behind-the-scenes account of how this fictional Treasure Hunt! became real. |
