Magic, Buttons, & Sci Fi Sounds In ICS  (click title for download page)

In the IntelliTools Classroom Suite® Media Sounds folder, there are three subfolders full of sounds that don’t get used as much as they deserve because you can’t tell what they will sound like from reading the file names. The subfolders are Buttons, Magic, and Sci Fi. I imported all those sounds into toolbar buttons and saved as an activity, Preview Sounds. You can try out and compare sounds by clicking buttons in the large toolbar in this activity. Bonus: A tip on adding a sound button from Preview Sounds into your project!

To Scan Or Not To Scan In ICS  (click title for download page)

By default, everything is set to be part of a scan in IntelliTools Classroom Suite®. But we want the interface as uncluttered as possible for kids who are using switches, whatever their age and academic level. So it’s a good idea to consider whether you want to change that default scan setting on some items. Here are some things I keep in mind while setting up an activity. Bonus: A collection of Read Page button art JPEGs in various sizes and shapes!
